Applied Electromagnetics (AEL)

The Applied Electromagnetics Laboratory provides stimulating work opportunities in electromagnetics, photonics, RF technologies, and computational physics. We have unique capabilities for designing small or conformal antennas and integrating these technologies in vehicle systems. We’re also developing state-of-the-art optoelectronics technologies for microwave signal distribution, waveform generation and signal processing. In computational physics, we apply the world’s leading expertise in electromagnetic modeling, electronic material design, and quantum information science to design new electromagnetic and electronic materials and devices. Microelectronics (MEL)

The Microelectronics Laboratory has a variety of opportunities for professional growth and high-visibility on projects developing state-of-the-art mixed-signal integrated circuits and MMICs operating at millimeter wave frequencies; heteroepitaxial III-V materials and devices (including InP, GaN, and antimonide-based semiconductors); and growing activities in electronic subsystem simulation and analog signal processing.
